What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
Jiu-Jitsu comes from the Japanese words meaning "gentle art." It is a self-defense system that promotes dominating the opponent without aggression and with technique and leverage instead. In addition to learning how to defend yourself, the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu are numerous and include discipline, confidence, cardiovascular health and muscular strength.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be started and practiced regularly by all ages and body types as no athletic experience is required. Our mission is to guide each practice safely and teach classes that create opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional growth.
